Well ok, it wasn't France, it was Havering in Essex, but going to the Europa Centre did make the children practice their French as the centre is set up as a small French village with shops, shop assistants and a cafe. The children were given Euros and had to go into each shop and ask for their shopping and count out the money, all in French!
